As part of our 24/7 care team, you'll deliver exceptional patient care during critical overnight hours while maintaining work-life balance through your weekend-only commitment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and document observations in electronic health records
- Assist patients with activities of daily living including mobility and personal care
- Administer medications as prescribed under RN supervision
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Collaborate with nursing staff during shift transitions
- Provide emotional support to patients and families overnight
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification or equivalent healthcare experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Ability to stand/walk for 12-hour shifts
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Weekend availability essential (Saturday & Sunday nights)
- Compassionate approach to patient care
- Ability to work independently in low-supervision environments
- Experience with electronic medical records preferred
