Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care during weekend night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Monitor patient vitals and administer medications accurately
- Collaborate with cross-functional medical teams for seamless patient handovers
- Document patient records with precision and maintain HIPAA compliance
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism
- Mentor new staff and uphold departmental quality standards
Qualifications
- Active DC nursing license (RN)
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience
- BLS/ACLS certification required
- Proven night shift adaptability and resilience
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Exceptional communication abilities in high-pressure scenarios
- EMR proficiency (Epic preferred)
