Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care activities during weekend and overnight shifts
- Monitor vital signs and administer medications per physician orders
- Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with day-shift staff for seamless care transitions
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism
- Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment
- Provide emotional support to patients and families during off-hours
Qualifications
- Current Ohio RN or LPN license required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in acute care setting
- BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Experience with electronic health records (Epic preferred)
- Flexibility to rotate between weekend and night shifts
