Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care activities during evening and weekend shifts, ensuring continuity of service
- Manage staffing assignments and schedule adjustments for night/weekend rotations
- Oversee emergency response protocols and incident reporting procedures
- Collaborate with day-shift staff to maintain comprehensive patient records
- Conduct safety inspections and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations
- Train and mentor new staff on shift-specific protocols and systems
- Facilitate communication between departments during off-peak hours
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years healthcare or similar shift-based experience
- Valid California state certification (CNA, EMT, or equivalent)
- Exceptional problem-solving and crisis management abilities
- Advanced proficiency in electronic health record systems
- Strong interpersonal skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Proficiency in Spanish highly desirable
