Responsibilities
- Assist providers with patient intake and vital sign measurements
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical equipment
- Administer injections and perform EKGs as certified
- Maintain accurate patient records using EMR systems
- Coordinate patient flow and manage appointment schedules
- Collect specimens and process laboratory orders
- Provide basic patient education on treatment plans
Qualifications
- Current medical assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Minimum 6 months clinical experience in outpatient setting
- Proficient in EMR systems (Epic or Meditech preferred)
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication skills in English/Spanish
- Flexibility to work 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM shifts
- Reliable transportation for multiple site coverage
