Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care during weekend shifts (Sat/Sun 7am-7pm)
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care teams and maintain accurate patient records
- Implement emergency protocols and respond to critical situations promptly
- Train and mentor new weekend shift staff on department protocols
- Conduct weekend equipment inspections and quality assurance checks
- Collaborate with weekday supervisors for seamless care transitions
- Participate in weekend departmental improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in healthcare or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 2+ years clinical experience with weekend shift exposure
- BLS/CPR certification required (ACLS preferred)
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure situations
- Proficiency with electronic health records (Epic/EMR)
- Valid North Carolina healthcare professional license
