Responsibilities
- Execute efficient loading and unloading of freight trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks in strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Conduct accurate inventory counts and stock checks to maintain real-time inventory accuracy.
- Verify shipment contents against packing lists to ensure 100% order accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, including sweeping, organizing pallets, and removing waste.
- Collaborate with the shift supervisor to identify workflow improvements and operational bottlenecks.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training provided.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to operate handheld scanning devices.
- Reliable transportation to and from the Detroit facility.
