Responsibilities
- Oversee Weekend Operations: Manage the daily workflow of the warehouse during peak weekend shifts to ensure timely processing of inbound and outbound shipments.
- Inventory Management: Conduct accurate stock counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies using our ERP system.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing cargo to ensure compliance with company standards and safety regulations.
- Team Leadership: Supervise a small team of warehouse associates, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce OSHA safety protocols and conduct daily safety briefings to maintain a secure working environment.
- Documentation: Process necessary paperwork, including bills of lading and shipping manifests, with 100% accuracy.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours on weekends (Saturday & Sunday).
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Business or Logistics is a plus.
- Skills: Proficiency with warehouse management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and basic computer skills.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
