As a Weekend Logistics Coordinator, you will play a critical role in our weekend workforce, managing the flow of goods and ensuring our customers receive their orders on time. Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all inbound and outbound freight operations during weekend shifts.
- Coordinate with third-party carriers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and accurate scheduling.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA regulations in the warehouse environment.
- Conduct daily inventory checks and reconcile stock discrepancies with precision.
- Supervise and mentor a team of warehouse associates, ensuring high productivity and morale.
- Process shipping documentation, including bills of lading and packing slips, with 100% accuracy.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement efficient solutions to improve workflow.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain management.
- Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays on a full-time basis (40 hours per week).
- Proficiency in WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, informed decisions under pressure.
- Valid Forklift certification is highly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
