Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized patient care during weekend shifts (6am-2pm or 10am-6pm)
- Administer medications and vital sign monitoring per protocols
- Document patient interactions accurately in EMR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control standards
- Respond to patient emergencies with calm professionalism
- Support patient education and discharge planning
Qualifications
- Active CNA or Medical Assistant certification required
- 1+ years acute care or long-term weekend shift experience
- BLS/CPR certification
- Exceptional communication and empathy skills
- Proficiency in Epic or similar EMR platforms
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced settings
- Flexibility to cover rotating weekend schedules
- Illinois state healthcare license in good standing
