What You Will Do
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and implementation of critical maintenance windows on Fridays and Saturdays.
- Execute automated deployments and perform rigorous code reviews to ensure system integrity.
- Debug complex production issues in real-time and collaborate with the core engineering team to implement patches.
- Optimize database performance and ensure high availability of our core services.
- Conduct training sessions for junior developers and document technical procedures.
- Participate in on-call rotation for urgent weekend escalations.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on high-scale systems.
- Expert proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React, and Node.js.
- Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude toward technical debt.
