Responsibilities
- Lead Weekend Development Cycles: Architect, code, and deploy critical features during the weekend window to minimize impact on weekday operations.
- System Stability: Monitor system health, troubleshoot production incidents, and implement patches to ensure 99.99% uptime.
- Code Review & Mentorship: Conduct rigorous code reviews and mentor junior engineers to maintain high engineering standards.
- Performance Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in the frontend stack and implement optimizations to enhance load times and user experience.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and backend teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Technical Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for all weekend processes and architectural decisions.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development with a focus on JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Core Skills: Proficiency in React.js, HTML5, CSS3, and modern build tools (Webpack, Vite).
- Backend Knowledge: Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and basic backend concepts (Node.js/Python).
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to debug complex issues and propose scalable solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with remote teams.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours on weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
