Responsibilities
- Coordinate on-site staffing for weekend events including festivals, farmers markets, and cultural celebrations
- Manage team assignments and ensure optimal coverage across event zones
- Handle vendor and attendee inquiries with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Overload inventory and supply management for event materials
- Implement safety protocols and emergency response procedures
- Collaborate with event organizers to resolve operational challenges
- Document event outcomes and submit post-event reports
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in event coordination or customer service
- Availability to work weekends (Friday-Sunday) with flexible scheduling
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, outdoor environments
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Valid Washington State driver's license (for equipment transport)
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Knowledge of Seattle event venues and neighborhoods preferred
