Responsibilities
- Coordinate on-site logistics for weekend events including setup, vendor management, and guest flow
- Lead teams of 5-15 staff/volunteers during event execution
- Resolve client and guest inquiries with exceptional service
- Monitor safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Conduct post-event debriefs and documentation
- Collaborate with city officials and venue managers
- Track inventory and equipment for weekend events
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years event coordination or hospitality experience
- Availability Saturdays and Sundays (8am-10pm shifts)
- Valid Michigan driver's license and reliable transportation
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong conflict resolution and multitasking abilities
- Knowledge of Detroit venues and event landscape preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Proficiency in event management software (e.g., Eventbrite)
