Responsibilities
- Execute Critical Maintenance: Oversee and perform high-impact deployments and system maintenance during weekend windows to minimize disruption to daily operations.
- Monitor System Health: Utilize advanced monitoring tools to detect anomalies, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure 99.99% uptime for our services.
- Code Reviews & Optimization: Review pull requests and optimize database queries to improve application performance during peak load times.
- Incident Response: Lead the technical response to weekend incidents, coordinating with the on-call team to resolve issues swiftly.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed technical documentation for weekend procedures and system architecture updates.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend software development, specifically within high-traffic environments.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, Go, or Java and experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and Kubernetes.
- Availability: Must be available to work a Weekend Shift (Saturday & Sunday) on a Full-Time basis.
