Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight: Manage the workflow of the weekend shift, ensuring all targets and KPIs are met with precision.
- Inventory Control: Conduct cycle counts and reconcile stock discrepancies to maintain 99.9% inventory accuracy.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines to prevent accidents.
- Equipment Handling: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems.
- Team Leadership: Mentor new hires and coordinate with the weekday shift management team to ensure seamless transitions.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and correct labeling.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays on a full-time basis.
- License: Valid Forklift Operator Certification is highly preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a plus.
