Responsibilities
- Leadership & Supervision: Direct and supervise the weekend workforce, ensuring all staff are productive and engaged throughout the shift.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to maintain a zero-accident workplace environment.
- Inventory Management: Oversee receiving, stocking, and order fulfillment processes to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Shift Operations: Manage daily workflow, troubleshoot operational bottlenecks, and ensure timely shipment of all orders.
- Training: Mentor new hires and provide ongoing training to improve team skills and performance.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular audits of inventory and shipping procedures to meet quality standards.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for management during the weekend shift.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead capacity.
- Schedule: Must be available to work weekends only (Saturday & Sunday) from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- Skills: Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and handheld scanners.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Driver's License: Valid Texas Driver's License is preferred.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to make quick, effective decisions under pressure.
