Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload trailers using forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing cargo.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping with a 99% accuracy rate.
- Inventory Management: Conduct cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records in our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on material handling equipment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free workspace.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and cross-functional departments to resolve operational issues.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays on a full-time basis (40 hours per week).
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail is preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with RF scanners or handheld devices.
- License: Forklift certification (Class A or B) is a plus but not required.
