Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Freight: Safely and efficiently manage the movement of goods from trucks to storage areas using hand trucks and pallet jacks.
- Inventory Management: Accurately scan and track incoming and outgoing inventory to maintain real-time stock accuracy.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with a focus on speed and accuracy to meet daily KPIs.
- Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse machinery, including forklifts (certification provided if needed) and conveyor belts.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies to ensure a secure work environment.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure all packaging meets customer specifications.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays consistently.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when scanning barcodes and managing inventory counts.
- Reliability: A proven track record of punctuality and dependability is required.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with team leaders and shift managers.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old to operate machinery and handle inventory.
