Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload trucks and shipments.
- Inventory Management: Accurately count, sort, and organize inventory stock to ensure proper storage.
- Packing: Pack products securely for shipment using appropriate materials and methods.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damages or discrepancies.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies at all times.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on warehouse equipment and report any issues.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday) consistently.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
- Certification: Valid forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
