Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts affecting 2026 business landscape
- Develop and present strategic foresight frameworks to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Collaborate with R&D teams to translate future scenarios into innovation roadmaps and product pipelines
- Establish and maintain external partnerships with academic institutions, think tanks, and industry pioneers
- Create scenario-based strategic plans with quantifiable risk assessments and opportunity valuations
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-thinking methodologies and strategic adaptation
- Produce annual '2026 Horizon Report' with actionable recommendations for organizational evolution
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of translating foresight into business strategy and measurable outcomes
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and horizon scanning techniques
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex future scenarios to diverse audiences
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives in technology-driven organizations
- Published thought leadership in foresight or strategic innovation (preferred)
