Responsibilities

- Produce annual 'Horizon Scan' reports with actionable recommendations for executive stakeholders
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-state solutions in our Innovation Labs
- Represent company at global futurist forums and thought leadership summits
- Mentor junior futurists in emerging methodologies and foresight frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology roadmapping
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals on emerging tech impact
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, horizon scanning, causal layered analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-state implementation for Fortune 500 clients
- Fluency in at least two future-tech domains: quantum, AI, nanotech, or synthetic biology
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
