Responsibilities
- Direct all weekend warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Lead, mentor, and schedule a 15-person weekend team across 3 operational shifts
- Implement process improvements to increase weekend efficiency by 20%+ annually
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (transportation, customer service) for end-to-end weekend delivery excellence
- Monitor KPIs including on-time delivery rates, inventory accuracy, and customer satisfaction
- Develop weekend contingency plans for weather disruptions and peak demand periods
- Conduct weekly performance reviews and create development plans for weekend staff
Qualifications
- 5+ years in logistics/supply chain management with weekend shift leadership experience
- Proven track record of optimizing warehouse operations and reducing processing times
- Expertise in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan) and inventory management software
- Strong data analysis skills with experience in interpreting operational metrics
- OSHA certification and deep knowledge of safety protocols for weekend operations
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or Business Administration
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and calm demeanor during high-pressure weekend scenarios
