Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 strategic foresight framework using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead high-stakes workshops with stakeholders to align on future-state opportunities and risks
- Produce comprehensive strategic roadmaps with quantifiable milestones for 2026 technology adoption
- Champion innovation by identifying and evaluating emerging technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, climate AI)
- Represent the company at global futurism conferences and thought leadership platforms
- Mentor a team of junior futurists to build next-generation strategic capabilities
- Integrate ESG and sustainability metrics into all long-term planning documents
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, futurism, or innovation consulting with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record developing multi-year strategic roadmaps with measurable outcomes
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum, space tech)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level communication abilities
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Technology Management, or related field
- Certification in scenario planning (e.g., WFS, Foresight Practitioner) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful long-term strategy implementations
