Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and socio-economic indicators to forecast industry shifts through 2026
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks and innovation roadmaps for executive leadership
- Partner with R&D and product teams to integrate future insights into development pipelines
- Deliver compelling foresight briefings to stakeholders and industry conferences
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to embed future-readiness into organizational DNA
- Monitor horizon technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) for strategic applications
- Author forward-looking thought leadership and market disruption reports
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field with 8+ years applied experience
- Proven track record in translating foresight into actionable business strategy
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence senior leadership
- Experience leading cross-functional strategic initiatives in tech or consulting
- Published thought leadership in futures or innovation publications preferred
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston) a plus
