Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026-2030 strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario modeling
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen solutions in sustainable tech and digital transformation
- Produce high-impact strategic briefings for executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and other future-focused institutions
- Quantify market opportunities in emerging sectors (e.g., synthetic biology, quantum-secure cryptography)
- Mentor a team of futurist analysts while maintaining thought leadership through industry keynotes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into executable business strategies
- Expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in Harvard Business Review or similar top-tier outlets
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or Oxford
- Experience leading multi-year horizon scanning projects for Fortune 500 companies
