Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ technology and market trend forecasts through horizon scanning and scenario planning

- Author strategic whitepapers and executive briefings on disruptive innovations (quantum computing, AGI, biotech convergence)
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to track emerging breakthroughs
- Design and maintain proprietary foresight frameworks using AI-driven trend analysis
- Present strategic recommendations to board members and investors with data-backed narratives
- Mentor junior futurists and build the organization's future-focused capabilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology research
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership in industry journals or major media outlets
- Experience working with Fortune 500 executives on innovation strategy
