Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive 2026 strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify emerging risks and opportunities in AI, biotech, and climate adaptation
- Produce high-impact future-state roadmaps with quantifiable KPIs for executive stakeholders
- Collaborate with R&D to integrate foresight findings into product development pipelines
- Establish industry-leading foresight methodologies and publish thought leadership in top-tier publications
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and innovation partners
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board members with compelling data visualizations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, futurism, or related consulting with Fortune 500 experience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or MBA with specialization in strategic innovation
- Proven expertise in scenario planning methodologies (e.g., STEEP, Delphi)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with proficiency in visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 5+ year strategic implementations
- Experience in sustainability or ESG strategy development
