Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ strategic foresight frameworks for emerging tech domains (AI, biotech, climate tech)
- Lead executive workshops to align organizational strategy on future opportunities
- Translate future scenarios into product roadmaps and investment priorities
- Manage innovation pipelines from ideation to prototyping with R&D teams
- Establish competitive intelligence systems for emerging market disruptors
- Present future trend analyses to stakeholders including board members and investors
- Mentor junior futurists and build future literacy programs across departments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist roles
- Proven track record translating future trends into commercial strategy
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant technical field
- Published thought leadership in innovation or foresight publications
- Certification in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., CFS, FSF)
- Portfolio demonstrating future-back scenario planning projects
