Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technological and societal shifts
- Develop quantitative/qualitative future scenarios for board-level strategic planning
- Collaborate with R&D to align innovation pipelines with future market needs
- Present future-proof strategies to C-suite and key stakeholders
- Author thought leadership publications and industry white papers
- Build and mentor a team of junior futurists and research analysts
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist role
- Proven track record of translating future trends into business strategy
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence
- Published work in reputable foresight or business journals
