Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care in a 36-bed cardiac telemetry unit
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor and interpret EKG rhythms and vital signs
- Document patient assessments and care plans in Epic EMR
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for coordinated care
- Respond to emergency situations with rapid intervention
- Mentor new nurses and float staff during peak periods
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Ohio (or compact state)
- BSN degree required (MSN preferred)
- 2+ years acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications mandatory
- Telemetry certification required
- Strong EKG interpretation skills
- Ability to work independently during weekend coverage
