Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced cardiac unit setting
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor and assess patient vital signs and recovery progress
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for coordinated care
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR)
- Respond to emergency situations with rapid assessment and intervention
- Educate patients and families on post-treatment care plans
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (required)
- BSN or higher degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications (must maintain)
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to rotate between day/night shifts as needed
