Responsibilities

- Secure and manage multi-million dollar research grants from federal and private sources
- Publish groundbreaking findings in Nature/Science journals and premier quantum conferences
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers and cultivate next-gen quantum talent pipeline
- Partner with industry leaders to commercialize quantum computing applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry research
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor, Grover, VQE) and quantum error correction codes
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and classical HPC systems
- Track record of publishing in top-tier quantum/computing journals
- Experience securing NSF/DOE grants or corporate quantum research funding
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into experimental prototypes
