Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum neural networks for machine learning acceleration
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for optimization problems in logistics and drug discovery
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-AI hybrid systems
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patents in quantum machine learning
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors optimized for AI workloads
- Mentor junior researchers and establish quantum-AI research frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 3+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (QAOA, VQE, Grover's variants)
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane)
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum complexity theory
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability, and information theory
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex research projects
