- Identify emerging market trends and competitive technologies to ensure our roadmap remains ahead of the curve.
- Oversee the hiring and mentorship of a high-performing research team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Present technical findings and strategic roadmaps to executive leadership and external stakeholders.
- Manage a substantial budget for research initiatives, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and ROI.
- Establish and maintain partnerships with academic institutions and research labs to drive external innovation.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in R&D, engineering, or a senior technical leadership role within the tech industry.
- Proven track record of leading successful, long-term strategic initiatives (e.g., Project 2026) from conception to completion.
- Deep understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Quantum Computing principles.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and make data-driven decisions.
