Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move products.
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Inventory Control: Assist with cycle counts and maintain accurate stock records within the warehouse.
- Trucking Operations: Load and unload trucks efficiently to ensure timely departures.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse aisles clear and organized to maximize efficiency.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Education: High school diploma or GED is required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when processing orders and inventory.
- Basic Computer Skills: Comfortable using handheld scanners or warehouse management systems.
- Forklift Certification: Prior experience with forklifts is a plus but not required (training available).
