Role Overview
In this pivotal role, you will oversee the daily operations of our Houston facility. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth workflow during weekend shifts, managing a team of floor staff, and maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all weekend operations to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
- Supervise and mentor a team of warehouse and logistics staff, conducting regular performance reviews.
- Implement and enforce strict safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for all employees.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement teams to prevent stock shortages.
- Handle customer complaints and service escalations with a focus on rapid resolution and satisfaction.
- Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
- Ensure all regulatory compliance standards are met during daily operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business or Logistics preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations management or a related field.
- Proven leadership experience with a track record of managing diverse teams.
- Must be available to work full-time, specifically including weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the Houston metropolitan area.
- Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
