Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and document observations in electronic health records
- Assist patients with daily activities including mobility, bathing, and nutrition
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans and interventions
- Maintain sterile environments and adhere to infection control protocols
- Respond promptly to patient calls and emergency situations
- Prepare and maintain medical equipment and supplies
- Support patient education and discharge planning processes
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; CNA certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year healthcare experience in acute care or long-term setting
- Current BLS/CPR certification from American Heart Association
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks during overnight hours
