Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, receive incoming shipments, and ensure accurate inventory counts using warehouse management systems.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision and speed to meet daily targets.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery as required by certification.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free working environment.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies to the shift supervisor immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth workflow during night operations.
- Shift Coverage: Assist in covering open shifts during peak periods or emergencies.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or manufacturing.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts and weekends on a rotating schedule.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license is preferred but not mandatory.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to read and comprehend instructions.
- Reliability: A proven track record of punctuality and dependability.
- Forklift Certification: Current forklift certification is a plus.
