Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Direct and coordinate daily activities of the night shift crew to ensure production targets are met efficiently and on schedule.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a zero-accident workplace environment.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor output quality in real-time and implement immediate corrective actions to prevent defects and waste.
- Team Management: Conduct shift briefings, performance evaluations, and provide mentorship to foster a positive, high-performance team culture.
- Inventory Oversight: Manage stock levels and coordinate logistics for inbound and outbound materials to ensure seamless operations.
- Problem Solving: Independently address operational bottlenecks and equipment issues that arise during the shift.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in manufacturing or logistics, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
- Availability: Must be willing and able to work rotating night shifts (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Business or Logistics is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with inventory management software and basic computer operations.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
