Responsibilities
- Monitor premises via surveillance systems and conduct regular patrols to prevent security breaches
- Enforce access control procedures and verify credentials for all personnel and visitors
- Respond promptly to emergencies, incidents, and suspicious activities with appropriate protocols
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate security documentation
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services during critical situations
- Operate security equipment including CCTV, alarms, and communication devices
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a visible security presence
Qualifications
- Valid Colorado Security Guard License (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Physical fitness to stand/walk for extended periods and respond to emergencies
- Availability to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Proficient with security technology and reporting systems
