Responsibilities
- Monitor premises and prevent unauthorized access using advanced surveillance systems
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas including rooftops, perimeters, and common spaces
- Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies following protocol
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with law enforcement during emergency situations
- Operate X-ray scanners and metal detectors at entry points
- Provide excellent customer service to tenants and visitors
Qualifications
- Valid NYS Security Guard License (required)
- Minimum 2 years professional security experience
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods during night shifts
- Proficient with surveillance technology and communication devices
- Strong observational skills and situational awareness
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexible availability for weekend and overnight shifts (Fri-Sun)
- Clean background check and drug-free certification
