Responsibilities
- Monitor premises via CCTV and patrols to prevent theft/damage
- Respond to alarms and emergency situations promptly
- Enforce venue safety protocols and crowd control measures
- Complete detailed incident reports using digital systems
- Collaborate with law enforcement during emergencies
- Conduct access control for authorized personnel
- Maintain accurate shift logs and handover documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Virginia Security Guard License (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to stand/walk for 8-hour shifts
- Strong communication and de-escalation skills
- Reliable transportation to Virginia Beach locations
- Basic first aid/CPR certification (training provided)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Clear background check and drug screen required
- Previous security or customer service experience preferred
