Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and document observations in electronic health records
- Assist patients with daily activities including bathing, mobility, and feeding
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures under nurse supervision
- Transport patients safely throughout the facility using proper equipment
- Stock and maintain patient care supplies in designated areas
- Respond to patient call bells and address immediate comfort needs
- Collaborate with night shift nursing staff to ensure seamless care continuity
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- CNA certification preferred but not required (training provided)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (or obtainable within 30 days)
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail with precise documentation abilities
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as scheduled
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
