Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care during overnight shifts (7 PM - 7 AM)
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Monitor vital signs and document patient status in EMR systems
- Assist with emergency response procedures and critical situations
- Coordinate with day-shift teams for seamless patient transitions
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and strict confidentiality standards
- Perform diagnostic tests and specimen processing
Qualifications
- Current California Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in acute care setting
- BLS/CPR certification (AHA preferred)
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (Epic/EMR)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
