Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently move, sort, and stage inventory using forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems.
- Quality Control Assurance: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and accuracy, ensuring 100% order fulfillment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Inventory Management: Accurately update inventory systems (WMS) to reflect stock levels and location changes in real-time.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with day-shift supervisors and cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues immediately.
- Load Preparation: Package and label goods correctly for distribution, ensuring proper handling of fragile items.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM) and weekends.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and navigate various terrains.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with barcode scanners or warehouse management software is a plus.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic with a proven track record of punctuality and attendance.
