Responsibilities
- Monitor premises via CCTV systems and foot patrols to detect suspicious activity
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations
- Enforce access control procedures and verify visitor credentials
- Prepare detailed incident reports using digital reporting tools
- Collaborate with law enforcement during critical incidents
- Conduct routine safety inspections of facilities and equipment
- Manage crowd control during special weekend events
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan Security Guard License (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours and operate in all weather conditions
- Strong observational skills and crisis management abilities
- Proficient with security technology (CCTV, access control systems)
- Excellent written communication for incident reporting
- Must pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Valid driver's license with clean record
