Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, climate tech, neuro-interfaces) and translate insights into strategic roadmaps
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives across 15 industries to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop scenario-planning models for 2026+ market landscapes and regulatory shifts
- Partner with product teams to embed future-ready principles into innovation pipelines
- Present foresight frameworks to Fortune 500 clients and executive stakeholders
- Build and mentor a cross-functional futurist task force
- Author thought leadership publications positioning Horizon as a 2026 innovation authority
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future studies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published research on exponential technologies or societal transformation
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial strategy
- Experience leading cross-continental teams in tech or consulting
- Deep knowledge of quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech trajectories
