Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vitals and report abnormalities to on-call medical staff
- Assist with patient mobility and daily care routines
- Document observations accurately in electronic health records
- Respond promptly to patient call systems and emergency alerts
- Maintain clean and organized patient environments
- Collaborate with cross-shift teams for seamless care transitions
- Adhere strictly to HIPAA and hospital safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (CNA certification preferred)
- Minimum 1 year healthcare or patient care experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or obtainable within 30 days)
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours and lift up to 50 lbs
- Exceptional communication and observation skills
- Availability to work every Saturday and Sunday (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Clear criminal background check and drug screening required
