Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and risks in global markets
- Produce high-impact visualizations and reports translating complex futures into actionable business strategies
- Partner with R&D and product teams to embed future intelligence into innovation pipelines
- Establish thought leadership through white papers, industry conferences, and media engagements
- Monitor geopolitical, technological, and environmental megatrends affecting 2026+ business landscapes
- Build and manage a network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers for intelligence gathering
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Minimum 7 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend impact assessment methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies: AGI, quantum computing, synthetic biology, climate tech
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience translating complex futures for executive audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic frameworks implemented at scale
- Fluency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis, STEEPLE)
- Global perspective with experience analyzing cross-cultural and geopolitical drivers of change
